Supervisory Budget Analyst

This position is located in the Bureau of the Comptroller and Global Financial Services (CGFS), Deputy Comptroller for Bureau Financial Support Services (BFSS), Foreign Assistance and Independent Accounts Directorate (FAIA), Office of International Security Assistance Financial Services (ISFS). The position serves as Division Chief and manages a staff of budget and financial management functions for the International Security and Support Division.

Evaluates performance; plans work and sets priorities for subordinates based on workload and abilities; sets performance standards; provides advice, counsel, and instruction on work and administrative matters.

Serves as the expert financial advisor to senior bureau officials on the allocation, management, and control of resources, overseeing a staff that provides expert budgetary, accounts management, and control functions.

Tracks and monitors expenditures of financial resources across programs, grants, and contracts.

Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the Department's financial management and budget programs, ensuring alignment with mission priorities and strategic goals.

Represents the organization in meetings and negotiations with officials from the Office of Management and Budget, other federal agencies, and congressional staff on budget and financial management issues.
