Lead Security Guard

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) handles the day-to-day operations of Army installations.

Serves as a Shift Leader who is an assistant to the Guard Shift Supervisor.

Conduct foot or vehicle patrols of perimeters, roadways, parking and other high traffic areas as well as storage, administrative and other structures as designated.

Ensures incident scenes are preserved for law enforcement investigators and provides written reports of findings based on criminal incidents to the supervisor.

Provides on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures.

Detains violators, identifies witnesses and renders first aid to the injured commensurate with training and certifications.

Maintains duty journal and prepares written reports of unusual situations and conditions encountered.
